Prashant V Shrivastava is a lyricist, poet, and author. Prashant has written numerous Hindi songs, ghazals, bhajans for composers like Vimal V, Suresh Raja, Prithvi Gandharva, Vijay, Karthikeya Murthy, PC Shivan. Prashant's songs have been rendered by Padm Bhushan Udit Narayan, Padm Shri Hariharan, Chitra, Shankar Mahadevan, Srinivas, Madhushree Bhattacharya, Nikhita Gandhi, Abhay Jodhpurkar, Vishnupriya Ravi, Karthik, Vijay, and Vimal V, and Padmavathy.
Prashant's first book was a fiction novel in English called Life's Like That. It was published in the year 2013. Later in 2015, Prashant wrote the best poetry for Delhi I Love You campaign, which was painted on the front wall of |Saket City Hospital in Delhi. Prashant released his first collection of 100 poems in 2019 called Jo Tum Kaho, which is a bouquet of 100 songs like poems written by Prashant.
From 2020, Prashant has been writing lyrics for different composers and singers. Prashant recently attended a recording session with living legend Padma Bhushan Udit Narayan ji in Mumbai.
